On the eve of Super Bowl XLVI, the National Football League held its inaugural postseason “NFL Honors” award show Saturday night. The primetime television event, hosted by Alec Baldwin, saw a blend of current and former stars of pro football being highlighted throughout the show.

Monday’s Locker Room Talk: Jan. 23

Willis Named NFC Def. Player of the Week

Four-time Pro Bowl linebacker Patrick Willis remains as one of the game’s most entertaining players. He continued his stellar play against the Bucs, as the 49ers star linebacker totaled 18 tackles and a fumble recovery in a 48-3 win over Tampa Bay.
For his effort, Willis has been named as the NFC’s Week 5 Defensive Player of the Week.
