Kaepernick to Join Teammates Soon
Posted by Scott Kegley on May 6, 2011 – 12:12 PM
Colin Kaepernick can’t wait to join his new teammates. Communicating via Twitter can only last so long.

After the draft, Kaepernick couldn’t even wait one night to come to team headquarters, instead choosing to make the 90-minute drive from his hometown of Turlock, California.
Kaepernick took that same approach this week, telling Pro Football Talk Live that he is planning on meeting up with the rest of the 49ers veterans very soon.

On the Phone with Haley and Vrabel
Posted by Sam Good on September 22, 2010 – 4:26 PMBuilding a good football team is a process. It takes time.
Chiefs head coach Todd Haley knows this, and although his team is 2-0 this season, he said that process is far from complete.
And when he looks across the NFL at where other teams are in that process, one of the teams he believes he’s chasing is the 49ers.

Posted by Taylor Price on September 21, 2010 – 1:02 PM
Before Mike Singletary could highlight the positives (offensive line, Alex Smith, Frank Gore) and explain the negatives of Monday night’s game (four turnovers and a safety); he thanked the 49ers Faithful first.
“It was great to see the fans excited for the game,” Singletary said in his opening comments. “They were effective with the loud noise they made.
“They gave us energy.”
Singletary also praised the contributions of many of last night’s key participants, most notably, his coordinators, his quarterback and his offensive line.

On the Phone with Carroll and Hasselbeck
Posted by Sam Good on September 8, 2010 – 4:28 PMThe 49ers might not recognize their opponents when they travel to Seattle for the season opener on Sunday.
Yes Seattle is a division rival, and yes the teams have faced each other twice a year since 2002, but with a new head coach and 27 new players on their squad, the Seahawks have a totally different look and feel to them this season.
The same can’t be said for the 49ers, at least that’s what three-time Pro Bowl quarterback Matt Hasselbeck said in his conference call with Bay Area reporters on Wednesday.
