49eerdefense2012 are you serious? First 2 rounds defensive players? Wow not gonna happen dude. And safety? We have stud safeties and I can almost garantee we will not take a safety with any of our first 3 picks. Offense it will be and most likely WR or a Defensive Lineman. We could use a stud rusher to start learning from justin Smith before he retires

I agree we need to build through the draft. We have 14 picks and most in the first few rounds. We need to move up and grab a top tier WR to go on the opposite side of KingCrab. I’m talking a big physical tough great hands Wideout and then dump Moss keep Manningham and well be set at WR for years to come. After that how about a Gronk size tight end? I love Delanie and hope to keep him but he does so much hell always have a place as a Niner. Also we need a consistant young kicker to put in place for the next 10 years. Enough losing because of bad kicks. Best of luck Akers you did us great last season. Well never forget

I dont see us moving up to take ANY wr in the 1st round or the 2nd round for that matter,,our 1st two picks will be on defensive players for sure,,,barring a small miracle in which we trade up to take one of the wr’s with a 1st round grade,,,now,we may move up to take one of the bad a,s,s, safety’s coming out in this years crop but we will just have to wait and see,,,,IN HARBAUGH WE TRUST

and yea mfkram, I would love to sign dwayne bowe,,that guy fits the mold of the type of wr the 49ers want,,big,strong,physical and can bun block at the point of attack and downfield,as well as beat press coverages and make the tough catches,in fact,many so-called talent evaluators think bowe is the best run blocking wr in the nfl,,IN HARBAUGH WE TRUST

I think hunter has what it will take to re-place gore,remember he is just short,not small in stature,,emmit smith,barry sanders,marshall faulk,garrison hearst,even todays rb’s,,doug martin,,,,,ray rice,,,I hate mentioning his name here,,,they are all short in stature rb’s but weigh near 210 lbs..little pitbulls,,hunter is in the same mold,,,I dont think we get stepfan taylor from stanford,,,I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THAT GUY AS WELL AS HARBAUGH MOST LIKELY WOULD,,,but I see us taking a chance on marcus lattimore the rb,,we have good depth at rb now but if that kid can come back from his injury,,that would be a stud to have,,I know,I know,,I dont like what if’s and maybe’s as much as the next guy, but isnt that what this time of year is for?? what if’s and maybe’s?,,only the draft and free agency will reveal what harbaugh and baalke are going to do,,,,IN HARBAUGH WE TRUST

we all been talking defense..what about finding a rb to take over for gore..lets fae it gore i love’em but his window is maybe 2-4 years..dixon is not the answer and james/hunter r change up backs…they need to get a guy to learn behind gore next 2 years…u need a good running game and with this type of offense the defenses have to honor the run..so they might surprise some people and take a rb early..

What the 49ers need is a big nose tackle to help out Justin Smith and slow down runners like Marshawn Lynch and Steven Jackson. We also need a shutdown corner to replace Chris Culliver. I’m thinking Darelle Revis in a trade for Alex Smith. However Revis might be too much of a cancer on our locker room. We do have strong leadership types on defense so maybe they can get him on-board for a chance at a Super Bowl ring.

i hear ya 49erdef..jennings is hurt to much…great if they got him cheap but that isn’t going to happen..bowe would be the fit but might be to much money…same with wallace…i like armendola wr/return guy..some mock drafts have them taking austin wr from w.v….i like trufant but will he be there? alot of questions but like we say IN HARBAUGH WE TRUST!

49erdefense. As you know, it’s hard for teams to get to the superbwl let alone win a superbowl. I hate that THE 49ERS lost the superbowl but I look at it this way. Now THE 49ERS can go into their next superbowl and not have to worry about losing their first. Less presure if you know what i’m saying. I feel with a few adjustments (defense line), THE 49ERS are and will be good enough to win the superbowl. Hopefully this coming season. I STILL HAVE 49ERS FEVER…..

I am so over the super bowl loss already,,,I am ready for the scouting combine,O.T.A.’s and mini’s and training camp,,,it is a great feeling knowing that my season tickets for the final battles @ ‘THE STICK are paid for,,”,,the 49ers actually asked for season ticket payments last january”,,and that my seat licence or whatever they call it at the new santa clara stadium is paid for along with my 1st season ticket pkg as well..I AM READY FOR THE HARBAUGH DYNASTY DAYS OF THE 49ERS,,,,,IN HARBAUGH WE TRUST,,,,
