49ers Sign Thomas to Reserve/Future Deal

The San Francisco 49ers announced they have signed S Michael Thomas to a Reserve/Future contract.
Thomas (5-11, 182) signed with San Francisco on May 4, 2012, and spent the entire season on the team’s practice squad.
A 23-year old native of Houston, TX, Thomas played collegiately at Stanford, where he appeared in 51 games (24 starts) and registered 189 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 12.5 tackles for loss, five interceptions, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 30 passes defensed in his career.

I feel he’ll do fine with time on the practice squad…Hope to see him this upcoming season.Preseason games will tell us alot…GOOD LUCK!

According to my sources we are going to have 14 draft picks this year and based upon the possibility of free agent losses over the next two years and our aging players that will have to be replaced, we are going to need everyone of them and all of next years draft picks as well if we do not sign any of our free agents. And after taking a long hard look at what type of talent is available in the draft, I would have to say we are looking pretty good. We are going to end up much stronger then we were last season and we were already pretty strong.
