Ok..So ive read through this article and the comments and for some reason there are still “so called” Niner Nation Faithfuls that feel that Kaep’ is our achilles heel going into this game. First off people let me say this, regardless of what you think, Coach Harbaugh has more football experience in his pinky toe then half of us can muster up combined. Lets give the man his dues, he is the coach and he makes those decisions. Now i could undestand peoples arguments if we werent winning; but the reality is folks, that even though we would like too, YOU CANT WIN THEM ALL. Kaep is poised and is playing a GREAT game of football in the QB position. Alex Smith had 1 good year and started to have another, but never really shown any significant progress from the previous season. With him under center the play calls were being limited because of the ceiling that he hit. Game Manager is no longer a bad QB reference thanks to Smith. Thank you for your contributions, sir! Now for those “fans” that claim our defense is weak and we lack what it takes to take on Greenbay…hmm, lets take a trip back to Week 1 where we went into there house and showed them what we were about. Everybody was healthy and everybody was there, aside from a banged up Justin Smith, this is the same team that beat them then, and we WILL beat them again. In order to be a TRUE 49er NINER NATION FAITHFUL, you have to have a little thing called FAITH. Look to our past and what we have accomplished. HOF Steve Young wasnt wanted by fans after having a rough or slow start, but proved with his will and determination that he could be the next great thing. Kaep is in the same shoes right now and we have the team behind him to do it. So for those that are speaking negative about the personnel changes and talking down on one of the best defenses in the league, in my opinion THE best, maybe you should follow another team or the team that Alex Smith goes too; or you could sit back and watch as we embark on a new history making journey #Quest4Six #NinerNationFaithful #KaepernickQB #PackerKillaDefense

We can drag Green Bay….Their O line is suspect….as long as we protect the ball, we will win!!!! we’ve been disregarded ever since we let Seattle blow us out….But we back where we want to be….under the radar>>>>Go 9ers!!

We are not going to win with our weak defense, who is now 11th in the league and with Kaepernick. We might beat Greenbay, but there is no way we are going to beat Seattle, nor Atlanta. Next year we are going to give up Alex to another team, after Harbaugh molded and trained this guy. Many 49er fans have a real bad taste in their mouths about this decision. I think Harbaugh made a mistake. Kaepernick could very well be our future, but for this season he should have stayed with Smith. Superbowl was almost a sure thing. If its not broke, why fix it.

Hey davey g, 49erdefense dude what kind of fan base do you have?? i mean that 49er faithful fan “Bob” is a “loser” i am a know hawk fan here but i say the niners have a 75% chance to win this game. If J.Smith plays and the D holds the pack to 24pts or less the 49ers pull out a close one by 3-7pts. I want the niners to win so my hawks who should beat atl can play a third and final game for the right to go to the Super Bowl. Go niners!
