what is this alex smith’s page..give me a break if akers hits those fg’s kap would be 5-0! to’s happen the thing is he bounced back in ram game walker drops a sure td or did u guys miss that too! he has played good….and only will get better..he is a winner period…hey orge u pick miami what happened they got beat by 14 what’s wrong with that? if alex wins by 3 he’s great right? they won that’s all that matters is what’s said when alex wins but kap wins it’s not enough..alex is gone after this year so go like his new team!

niners have 6 losses under alex and JH IN 2 YEARS!!!!!!!kap could have made 2-2 if not for the sexy defense IN FOUR GAMES!!! who is the obvious choice i say alex, kap is gonna be a baller but let him find his swagger during off-season not super bowl chances

i dont understand why kap is starting he only got one good play today and no good plays against that saints or the rams…. Alex Smith gets greats plays everygame.. i think imma email coach about this

I find the previous comparison of Kap and Smith to Young and Garcia laughable. Yes, I’m probably the only Niners fans that did not like Young. They said the same thing about Joe ‘s arm strength vs Young’s, yet Steve’s long throws were so inaccurate that they were more like hail Mary’s, coming down to the left or right of the intended to receiver, usually where the safety or cornerback was. His short throws took so long to get to the receiver that they had to stop and wait on the ball and then got plastered as soon as the ball got there. Good for the QB’s stats, but lousy for the receiver and YAC. The Niners mortgaged their future to get Young his one superbowl. That decision was based on ego’s in defense of their decision to let Joe go. Hopefully, they aren’t going down that road again.

I don’t get it. Kap got lucky against the Bears because the Bears didn’t know what to expect and played to stop the run. But since other teams have now seen the game footage, he has been average. He looks like a second year quarterback. Put Alex Smith back in and salvage what’s left of the season before you blow it!!!!

No this is about honor, integrity, respect. All of which got “thrown out the window”. JH is a great coach when viewed by past coaches. He came onto a team that was loaded with talent (just look at the roster). But he knew how to organize and use the player. Man knows football but GRo needs to quit the high school/college plays; cutsie but doesnt get us anywhere. Kaps got the future, but Alex “is the man” and should playout. This isn’t about the “hot hand”; that was a line of BS. Its about the $$$$$$$$$ and the suits should really stay out of the team. Great stuff on paper but you need to stay away from the real players on the team. Sad to see, but I don’t hear that old “who’s got it better?” anymore. Guess it died along with loyalty and respect. Dolphins 26 49ers 20. And hopefully nice guy Alex just won’t be available when Kap goes south.

I say Alex got us to the NFC championship and basically the superbowl if not for us fumbling it away for him then came back and had us in playoffs top of division again before getting hit. He earned this to go to playoffs hoping on what colin can do we know what Alex can. Colin had reps with the offense before starting so its not like he came off the bench in crunch time and won a major game so why sit Alex? Harbaugh remember what its like getting hit and being replaced?
