ALLRIGHT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, Remember the problems that Alex had when he first started we all remember those days RIGHT. And besides those of you that want to tell use about the game that we ALL WATCHED come on get real, aging I bring up the subject of possible coaching vacancy’s in the NFL, the two that I mentioned will be looked at real hard, now if they stay and we get that 6th ring then there going to get a lot of money thrown there way. yes dave g. as I have been saying all along ,,,IN HARBAUGH WE TRUST
@MC33, well said, I think kap is much more athletic than alex but his potential is limit-less, many coaches have said that potential will get them fired. CK7 is the future, but we are living in the here and now. as long as we are winning games im kool with whatever coach desides, but he is playing with fire I think. alex is still tops in the league with a 70% completion pct. and 3rd in the league with a 104 qb rating. you gunna try and tell me that sucks? I will say it again, I think coach is playing with fire. if coach was looking for kap to blow it up against the saints, it didnt happen,

You guys kill me. You all chasing the “I told you so”. If you pro Alex you will find the negatives in Kaps game, if you anti Alex you will find the negatives in Alex’s game. Its like Democrats and Republicans. I am neither…I want ONLY whats best for my team. Please stop the madness of who is right and who is wrong and just have faith in our coaches like I have been saying all along. The coaches know the process and evolution they are taking.

Last I looked Moss saved a pick 6. He threw without looking at the defense several times more than Alex Smith has this entire season. Delay of game a couple of times because he couldn’t get the reads until too late. He’s confident in his athleticism and rightly so. But he didn’t show mental stamina. . . “He didn’t lose the game” like Alex doesn’t. But wait, our defense scored as many TDs as Kaep did. He’s the quarterback of the F U T U R E, not right now.

As I read your last post 49def, which was well said , am more worried about the issue of the 49er, s keeping Roman and Fangio together on the staff during Jims current term as coach ,look at the situation in the NFL concerning cretin coaches you know were am going with this right. Where as Trent been during all this, he’s probably been smiling in his office with Jed and his mom and dad.

Kaep is the QB of the future. I don’t see why not. . . So now I qualified my statements below:

WE ALL saw more down field throws because WE ALL saw the saints defense dare Kaep to beat them instead of getting beat like every other team gets beat by the 49ers running down their throats.

The Kaep lovers here seam to really just be Alex haters. So of course they will ride his sack although he still posted as “mediocre” stats as Alex has. You all p!$$ and moan about looking down field. Alex Smith has tied 3rd in HIGHEST yards per completion in the NFL for QBs who’ve played more than half the season. Gore is averaging less yards per carry since Kaeps introduction to the offense as starter. The team still accomplishes win’s the same splitting run yards with Kaep and the rest of the run offense with a bit more down field shots at a lower percentage completion. Or running more effectively because Alex is good at calling the right run audible and completes 70% of his throws at a very high yards per completion.

Bottom line. This “dynamic offese” the 49ers have with kaep didn’t score but 17 points on the SAINTS defense.

we didnt get the running game going untill late in the game, like the 4th qrtr.,my buddy brought a friend,a casual fan, to my house for the game, we tailgate at my house on away games,,to watch the game, and at the start of the 4th qtr. dude looked at all of us and said,”hey,kap is looking like a poised veteran huh?” we all looked at dude and said,,”say what”,,dude he is doing ok,but this aint nothing special” that was my wife and we all started howling. see my point? kap looks much better but made some of the very same mistakes we have seen alex make. thats why I think coach is playing with fire,,yup kap plaed well, and yup,kap played bad, result, defense won us the game, and kap didnt lose it,,sounds like a discussion about alex doesnt it? this will be a very interesting week here in the city

if kap’s final line had 2 int’s on it and we lost, we would be talking VERY differently about our qb situation and who should be our starter, like I said, the defense bailed EVERYONE out yesterday

go back aad watch the tape against the cards, alex made some great throws down field, and only mis-fired once.man I aint no alex hugger, I have said for years he is an avg qb playing at an above avg level within this system, however, coach is looking for maybe just a bit more from his starting qb, but I dont think you should be playing with fire like this during a super bowl run, but, once again, IN HARBAUGH WE TRUST,,even if I dont agree with it at times,,,
