I would start Kapp to get touch downs in the first half then bring in Smith to manage the second half if you want. That means please Alex don't throw the ball just hand it to Gore or look there's Crabtree going buy on a short route you can atleast make those throws right?. Unfortunately we all know Smith will start on Sunday against the Saints but atleast the coach can see who really has the Hot hand.

I think the rookie is now better than Alex Smith, but only if he can build into his game some consistency. Alex was almost perfect in his last two games, 7-8 in game he got hit; 17-21 in the previous game. But he is a pocket QB while Colin K. is a runner, too. All depends what Harbaugh wants. https://sites.google.com/site/basketballfootballbaseball/home …

Running was important in the game I saw last night. Sure Gore nd Hunter are fine. But what about the rookie QB? I saw him chnge signals on the line of scrimage at least a couple of times. That's big-league stuff, not something a new guy usually can do. But you've got on the bench a QB in Alex Smith who could start for most teams in the league. Is he going to become a backup to the rook?

As much as I like these two runing backs I believe we should start using Dixon and Jacobs to save Gore and Hunter for the playoffs. We all know that Gore starts to feel the pain towards the end of the season. Let's be smart and use the extra musle.

Great article...I admire Frank more than anyone else on the team. If Hunter can come close to the running back Frank is, we will be in good hands for another 10 yrs!! They are learning from one of the great ones too! Jakobs will have a tough time gettinig many carries.
