Did you know the Niners have a secret weapon behind Kapo? It’s ex-Badger Scott Tolzien. A pro set style Qtrbck with lots of arm strength. Originally picked up by the Chargers but aquired 2 yrs ago through the 49er coaching staff who were impressed with his play in pre season with SD and Scott showed great promise in pre season with SF as well. A Niner coach is the brother of a Badger coach. ( a connection to boot. ) Watch for Tolzien if he is needed in the mix as well.

we all enjoy a good game Dude. and because colin played a good game, A GOOD GAME! doesn’t mean that he’s ready to take over. keep in mind that great game that Vick played on MNF last year! And where the hell is he now, as far as playing QB goes?

Wow. The lemmings dont even give 11 any props. Thats just sad! 11, Ive agreed w you from Day 1 that a change was needed. Its so awesome to have WRs finally anle to contribute beyond 10 yards. If Harbaugh is telling the truth about the hot hand,no way he can pull out Colin. Alex has NEVER played to that level against a premier defense.

oh and wow the changes at the line were remarkable been a while since i have seen such mastery of the QB reads….bears are a good defense so was good test …..1 game does not make superbowl but looked very good from a very good QB

relax …..things are good all around….future is set now to finish the year …alex i am sure wil get the nod …if he falters …we have the kaeper ready to go …feels good …..next year well …QB’s will fight yet again for starting role

gary you remember? when i asked if Alex would finish the season, you answered yes unless he was hurt! Do you still the same? The old way use to be, an injury wouldn’t cause a player to lose his job. Did that change with Brady ?

Great game total team win, but lets keep our cool. Colin played a great game as well as his protection, our defense was crazy out of hand. This was a lot like what the giants and viks did to us, seems to be going around, eh? If you like stats, there pretty much the same! Does this game remind anybody of a MNF game last year? when Vic looked like the something he’s not, a great QB? Don’t get me wrong, Colin could be that great QB! But teams will adjust. Other then that, what a game! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONINERS!

My boy came through…II have been waiting awhile for this while everyone else was yelling for either Alex or Tolzien!! I do believe Alex will start if he is cleared this week, but CK will be the man by the end of the year. One of the things everyone kept saying that was holding him back was being able to read the defenses. I think he proved last night he can. He just has so much more physical skills and presence that Alex has never shown.

What we did learn last night is that we do have a Quarterback in CK!!
