ahem, I believe he meant in the form of a battlefield. Football is about strategy, will, and guts. The 49ers stress team togetherness just as much as the military stresses unit loyalty. It is correct to say that football does not have the same violent attitude as war. However, it is correct to say that for the time a team steps onto a field to the time they step off of the field, those 100 yards are their battlefield.

49erFaithful…….Football is a game and don’t you ever forget it! It is NOT life or death as you say. Perhaps you should get out and expirence life in the real world. So enjoy the “game” on Sunday. Don’t forget to stand and take off your hat during the National Anthem or a “veteran” may knock your head off! Go 49ers.
