Matt Barrows of The Sacramento Bee forecasts the weather in Green Bay and the 49ers return options with Ted Ginn Jr. sidelined from practice this week.
Eric Branch of The San Francisco Chronicle previews Justin Smith’s matchup against Packers left tackle Marshall Newhouse.
Adam Schefter of ESPN.com picks 49ers-Packers as his top game of Week 1. Schefter: “One of the league’s top defenses squares off against one of the league’s top offenses in a matchup that could be an NFC Championship Game preview.”
Jeff Deeney of ProFootballFocus.com breaks down three keys to Sunday’s 49ers game.
