Watch 49ers-Vikings Online

Posted by Taylor Price on August 9, 2012 – 12:03 PM

If you’re unable to catch Friday night’s preseason opener between the San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings, NFL.com’s Preseason Live will show the replay online along with every NFL game this preseason.

Two hours following the conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. PT kick-off, fans who purchase the subscription can download the game and enjoy Preseason Live’s  unique features. The service also offers a condensed mode which shows every play, penalty, coaching challenge and plays under review in 30 minutes or less.

In the regular season, subscribers can purchase NFL.com’s Game Rewind feature, which also be allowed to view “Coaches Film,” the same tape utilizing camera angles viewed by Jim Harbaugh and the 49ers coaching staff. It’s also the same footage used by NFL scouts and position coaches. The feature includes an “All-22” camera angle positioned high above the playing field where it shows all 22 players on the field at the same time. Game Rewind also features “High End Zone” views that show what plays look like as game action takes place going toward or away from the end-zone.

The final service available is Audio Pass, which gives fans the opportunity to listen to home and away broadcasts for every NFL game.

NFL.com’s subscription products will be available for iPad and select Android tablets starting this season.

PLEASE NOTE:

Preseason Live is available in the United States, Bermuda, Antigua, the Bahamas, and any U.S. territories, possessions and commonwealths (including American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Ricoand the US Virgin Islands). LIVE GAMES are only available out-of-market. Live games will be blacked out in all DMAs selected by the clubs to broadcast their preseason games. IMPORTANT NOTE: All national games are blacked out live. Clubs should keep that and the local blackouts in mind during all PSL promotion. Fans can see all relevant blackout information here.

ARCHIVED GAMES are posted about two hours after the conclusion of the game broadcast and have commercials and halftime shows removed. Additionally, the Condensed Game archive is posted at the same time (shows every play from the game edited to roughly 30 minutes).

ESPN NATIONAL GAME EXCEPTION: Games broadcast nationally on ESPN will be held from the Preseason Live archives for 24 hours after the original broadcast ends.

That’s what is so infuriating about the NFL’s streaming packages. With the blackouts, you often don’t get to see your game until it is old news. By the time you see it you’re already looking ahead to next week. Grrrrrrr

Tell me about it I can’t wait for the season to start, Figure I watch a preseason game and NFL Total Access plays it at midnight, Where they should be playing 9er’s game i’m so tired of the lack of respect they get.Come on the Jets sick of hearing about them.

Why can’t I watch it live if I purchase the NFL live thing?? Why 2 hours later?

I’m not interested in watching the games live anyway, because they usually start at 3 or 4am my time. I’d like to buy Game Rewind, but the NFL markets it only in the US. So I have to buy the full package anyway. Sucks!

What’s wrong with the local channels around here? I’m a Viking fan living in CA trying to watch the game. Go to the MN Viking site. They are showing it on all channels and stations. Why can’t we get just one? Then you show us Tebow? Why? The 49’s almost made it all the way. At least they are a potential Championship Team! You should be showing Viking-49’s!!!! Use your head, This is CALIFORNIA!
