Jeromy, Alex played well, PRO BOWL.. DAH AND, this was a chalk up to having no receivers other than, Davis and Crabtree.. who needs to work with Jerry Rice.. on route running.. also, Harbough one thing to learn, next time you are playing team and you are 35 points up with 5 min to go in the game, take out your 1 string receiver… Josh Morgan… dah… another reason why we lost, we have no weapons… sign kendal hunter, do not let anybody pick him off.. gore was still hurt i understand, keeps going out when he runs the ball like 3 times in a row… when we are in red zone, we needed him

I( think the Niners had a good season. They need to resign all the starters from this year who had a 1 year deal. Don’t let any of the team we had get away. With no off season and a new coaching staff we did amazing! We need to make the SuperBowl next year!

I wonder how come Monta Kiffin was not signed to a contract? Monta seem like a hard worker and a huge team guy. Hope he stays

WELCOME TO OUR TEAM, GLAD TO HAVE YOU GUYS.

JEROMY IS AN IDIOT JUST LIKE THE OTHER ALEX SMITH HATERS, HIS OPINION MEANS NOTHING TO THE TRUE 49ER FAN, HE AND HIS PAL SEVEN YEARS WITH ALEX HAVE BEEN PUTTING ALEX DOWN ALL SEASON LONG. JEROMY, THIS IS NOT YOUR TEAM YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE GAME OF FOOTBALL.

I HEARD ALEX WAS GOING TO BE SIGNED BY THE 49ERS ONCE EVERYTHING SLOWS DOWN.

I HOPE THESE CRY BABY HATERS LEAVE, THEY ARE PROBABLY 10 YEAR OLD KIDS…..

i honestly think we shouldnt change a thing,we just need better depth, draft a good corner, get rid of spencer…we dont need 6 safeties, get rid of 2 ( c.jones and c.j spillman) pick up 2 receivers, thats where we got hurt the most losing 3 guys to injury and no one to turn to,also replace hastings and swain. also im still not too sure about snyder,we might want a new right guard

  7. By alex_fn_smith on Jan 24, 2012 | Reply

but as for alex and everyone else…keep them…oh and maybe replace gooden with another linebacker…oh and make sure one of those receivers are a return specialist,to back up ginn….sorry kyle, but you should stick with just being a receiver

shut up jeromy, would you give it up already, theyre not gonna get rid of alex, especially now that hes a good year and proved what he could do with good coaching, and motivation.so just shut up,get used to it,and start cheering for him like the rest of us,i never heard of such a B I G fan booing his own quarterback since the time that i was doing it. and i took my medicine, alex made me feel like an idiot,i moved on. you should to. goooooo 9ers!!!!

leave alex smith, and kyle williams alone! -per patrick willis, frank gore, vernon davis, justin smith, jim harbaugh, and the rest of the 49ers! i still say we had a great year, and im proud of my guys….if you love peyton manning so much then go be a colts fan, youre not wanted here! we should be all happy that we got this far! remember what it was like not getting to the playoffs at all every year!

  13. By alex_fn_smith on Jan 24, 2012 | Reply

dont you remember what it was like seeing the cardinals,or the seahawks get in while we sat home! WE GOT TO THE NFC CHAMPIONSHIP!!! in the first year of having coaches that know what theyre doing! and with all of our key players either out,or playing hurt,or concussed! we have 9 guys going to the pro bowl! we broke records,we won awards! we got further than everyone said we would! and in my opinion we didnt lose to the better team,it was an unfortunate ending,we should have won,we should be going to the superbowl! i am proud of my niners! and with all that said,if youre still whining and pointing fingers,ya’ll can eat s@#t and die!!!

I feel bad for Kyle Williams but why didn’t he go after the first punt he messed up? He had to know it hit him and then he let it go. A true 49ers would have went and jumped on it. He is full of bad joo-joo. Got to trade him. Too bad that happened…

All in all great season San Francsco 49ers! I have been depressed for the last decade and wasn’t expecting too much this year and you guys straight up did work! It felt like it was 1994 again. The meanest D I have ever seen! Finally a fun year of football. Number 6 would have been great though…

Jeromy needs to shut up. I bet he was the same idiot who wanted McNabb a few years ago. Why would you want to win it with Manning and his fragile neck? Go to the Colts or Cowboys or another bandwagon. We dont want you with us. True 49er fans are loyal & appreciate all the hard work & accomplishments they all did to get us here. You are such an ingrateful dumb@ss who has no idea how hard it is to win it all. If you against Alex, then you against Harbaugh and if you against Harbaugh & his decisions than you are not a part of us. If you a true 49er fan then you know Walsh and Montana had bad years. Did you jump ship then only to come back on? Together we stand together we fall. Go away, because when we stand again you are not invited with us!

I live in Australia and have followed the 49ers since 1982. I am not an expert like you guys but i thought the 9ers were unlucky. A couple of unfortunate collisions that would have been interceptions and tarell brown getting injured in one of them and williams brain fade where he should have got out of the way on the return. The Giants were lucky the 9ers weren’t. I still hope that the 9ers win the super bowl one day and hope it will happen soon. Keep the faith. Go 49ers….

you guys have forgotten what a real NFL QB looks like or even plays like or even performs like in games.I do you really think that when you order a pizza and it arrives 7 hours late that you will not only pay for it .. . but you will order it up again in hopes that …with some more toppings and better cheese it might arrive on time. lol He is a QB he is suposed to throw TD’s and manage the game and yet all he did was help the kicker and punter to the probowl lol ….sooo sad you are all blind to the fact that his time is all ready past …it is time to move on either way rookie or KAP I will support them for the next 3 years as to if they dont get it and perform then they must move on as well ….real simple no team waits 7..8…9…10 years for a QB to figure out how to throw more than a 2 TD aveage per season ….rediculous

  21. By NINERSS ALL DAYYY on Jan 24, 2012 | Reply

Alex smith is an Average quarterback lets be honest people….Granted he did not have enough help at all at the WR position….We must focus on signing a big play receiver (colston, Wayne, Andre Johnson)….Only problem is they may not want to come here for a run first offense that struggled in the red zone all year…I hated Braylon Edwards but he was a big play threat when he was healthy…I am a huge Crab fan but he is not a #1 receiver…He needs to compliment a big play receiver…with Crabtree Davis and a big play receiver Alex smith will certainly improve even more…In 2-3 years Kendall Hunter will be a pro bowler (just wanted to throw that out there).

  22. By seven years in S.F. on Jan 24, 2012 | Reply

jeremy thank you for being a real niner fan and expecting more from your team….win or lose they must improve some way …all alex has done was prove he is average at best in 8 years lol. And before you say it he did not go 13-3 the rest of the team did…. carrying his laskluster skills the whole season. His performance in a huge game as the NFC championship was garbage. I would have to say he threw the game myself. and no Kyle Williams is not the goat he played for an injured player in a high profile spot and fell victim to the rookie mistakes no blame placed or deserved on Williams. Alex should have converted those 3rd downs leaveing need for the return drama. Alex blew it and mosre than likely on purpose

  23. By NINERSS ALL DAYYY on Jan 24, 2012 | Reply

No Niner fans are saying we didnt have a great year, we absolutely did…This was the most fun ive ever had watching a football season. We are just discussing where we need to improve….there is always room for improvement…great teams are never satisfied…it is no secret that our offense struggled this year…We scored points solely on great coaching….Roman did an amazing job…We ran more formations than any other team I think!! Imagine what he would do with an explosive WR!!!

  24. By seven years in S.F. on Jan 24, 2012 | Reply

A winning season is for not if you dont win the superbow. yes i said it and alex will never be able to win a superbowl that is the bottom line here …no skills no drive no instincts …no tallent. Try out freeagency alex dont stay here you will never succeed here we will never have enough probowlers on the team for you to be carried to a superbowl win. Go play for the cardinals or bills and prove me wrong…prove me wrong show me you are so awesome and the niners are holding you back …go be a superstar …i wish you well because you cant win here you have stayed to long …like Mcnaab and romo and tebow you will never be anything until you leave

Yea the poor dude (kyle Williams) has been getting death threats, now that is taking it way to far! We complain about players as fans but that’s why were just fans sitting in the stands. It’s a lot harder to make those plays then people realize. We had a great season, we went farther than I ever expected. The good news is that we can only get better and were going to be knocking on the door for many years to come. No Worries!

  34. By mike on Jan 25, 2012 | Reply

I also believe they need to resign AS. We desperately need a big play reciever to help compliment Crabtree, Morgan, Davis, and Walker. They need to resign Rogers and Goldson and maybe get more depth at DB and WR. The championship loss showed that we need more depth at those 2 positions. I was impressed with what the 49ers did this season. I am a true fan and didn’t expect them to get as far as they got with no off-season to work on things. I see a DYNASTY coming back to Frisco soon.

Alex played good- not the best- but good. he made good decisions . of course he can be better and i think he can be. we need a wide receiver who can deliver and i think the offensive coordinator needs to make better play calls.

Harbaugh will keep most of the team. With just a little bit better offense, we will be unstoppable.

Ed Block Courage Award: QB Alex Smith

Alex Smith has been chosen by his teammates as the 2011 Ed Block Courage Award recipient. The award, which is given annually to the player that exemplifies a commitment to sportsmanship and courage, is the first for Smith. The starting quarterback also symbolizes professionalism, great strength, dedication and serves as a community role model for others, which are requirements to receive the award. Smith is just the second quarterback in franchise history to win the award and first since Joe Montana in 1986.

I don’t know about anybody else but weren’t we supposed to be a 6-10 team! We ought to get on our knees and thank God we were even in the playoffs let alone win one! I know it was heartbreaking the way we lost but at the same time we can really build up on this momentum! Even if the Giants win the Super Bowl which I don’t think so they have to make that march next year which we know they will not do! The Giants have alot of problems to deal with next year and they were very, very ,very lucky to even be there! On our side WE WILL GET BETTER AND WE HAVE JIM HARBAUGH TO THANK. JUST GIVE ALEX SOME MORE WEAPONS!

Great season. No one expected the success. It was nice to get excited for the playoffs again. Great job Alex Smith. You guys went for it against and the Saints and I love you for it. You all left it on the field against the Giants and we love you for it! It will be hard to duplicate this year’s record, but we fully expect you in the running for years to come! Thank you coach Harbaugh and staff, we are behind you! Hope the staff stays together. Time to retool with some more weapons from the draft and maybe some free agents. We need to keep ours too!

  42. By 49er4life on Jan 25, 2012 | Reply

@Jeremy, how do u trade somebody that’s a free agent? We can’t trade Alex. We can either sign him or not sign him. Learn the game of football. I think Alex had a good year and with some weapons like a Josh Morgan that was out for the year he would of been just that much better. Jim, good job this year with the same team we’ve had here and no training camp and turn it around. Keep up the GREAT work. NINERS 4 LIFE!!!

Whats wrong with some of you people!! Alex smith finally found the right coach and other coaching staff that has found what works for alex. What we need is wide receivers, we made it all the way to the nfc championship game, basicly on defence our offense consisted of a running back a tight end and occasionaly a cameo appearance of a wide receiver. It was a great year and im proud of this team, we will be a force to be dealt with and will make it to the big show, we just need to pick up some wide receivers get morgan back and tell crabtree and ginn to stay healthy for gods sake!!!!! man up already like V. Davis. Till next year……..Niner faithful for life!!!

GM Balke and Coach Harbaugh made some very impressive personnel decisions last summer, so I expect the same from them going forward. They now know first hand the talent we had this year and i trust they will be able to see were they can upgrade. I expect them to resign Alex Smith and have no problem with that he had a solid year. Personally a couple of big sure handed WR’s would be my top priority, to go along with Morgan and Crabtree. But our staff already knows that. GREAT SEASON LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR! GO NINERS!!!!!!!!

Here’s the formula to our Super Bowl success next season! Sign Peyton Manning if he becomes available and also trade for Toby Gearhart. Bring everyone else back and there you go! Super team with depth!

Gerhart will be our modern day “Tom Rathman” and even coached by Rathman! Manning will be amazing with Davis, Morgan, Crabtree and er….Williams. Yeah I said it…Williams. He is actually a great looking received just don’t put him on the special teams.

  56. By CHRIS on Jan 26, 2012 | Reply

niners will keep alex smith until Kaepernick is ready. Walker and VDavis are great…. Josh Morgan would have been huge down the stretch.

Ted Ginn isnt the greatest WR but his Return skills were needed in the worst way in the playoffs. if nothing else he needs to be resigned as a specialist.

Crabtree and Williams are OK, but the 49ers are going to have to do better. they need to become more explosive and dynamic, they rely too much on other teams beating themselves…. and when that doesnt happen they struggle. they have trouble without short fields…..and the WRs struggle getting open against sound defenses. i’m also concerend about Frank Gore. he’s wearing down too much at the end of season

I just want to express my gratitude to all the players and staff this season, what a very exciting season. A season that will be talked about at social events etc. It showed on how to play the game by trusting each other and believing in one another to achive a common goal. I applaud all your guys (players and staff)
It’s reminded me of a time when the 5 time Super Bowl champions were feared throughout that era!
Even though your not those same players during that era you guys looked like them on that field.
    Determination, Purpose,Pose, Mental Toughness,
Dignity, played as a true caliber franchise team, just like true CHAMPIONS and, that’s what set them apart!
    In closing GO NINER PRIDE.

First of all, absolutely a great season guys, im 24 and I don’t think I ever seen a defense play that hard every play. I couldn’t be more proud. Now, about Alex Smith, I do like the guy, I have alot of respect for him. He’s was almost run out of town last year and he came back in the offseason with no contract, and he became a leader for the team when the players couldn’t even make contact with the coaches. So Alex Smith haters, u should know this guy is not JOE MONTANA, or STEVE YOUNG, and he never will be ok so get over it. If alex is back next year I’ll be ok with that because I believe in Jim Harbaugh and his staff. I would like to see more of Kapernick next year, and see how he can do, or PEYTON MANNING :) But of not I will support ALEX SMITH and my TEAM. NO MATTER WHAT BECUZ I AM A TRUE FAN AND I ALWAY WILL BE.

I think what we need work is our WR’s… Alex Smith came out of his shell and pretty much step it up I stil think ASmith can do much more like what he did with the outstanding game against New Orleans AIn’t. Everyone on the D-Fence Killed it this season just look. JSmith, ASmith, PWhillis, Bowman, MAcdonald, Rogers and I think Brown needs work. TED GINN a fast @ss WR, just look at the SEAHAWKS game. 2 TD return… We just need work on the WR or replace them with someone who won’t choke when need. TGinn we needed you out there when it was most important. Lookwhat happen…..I would have let CRABTREE run it better then Williams… 49ers picked up more folks, they’re just better and better. I CAN’T WAIT for next season. Don’t worry folks we’ll make it to the Superbowl Next year

Alex smith is not worth the jersey his name is on….he is average at best. Let him go to freeagency and you all will see just how valuable he is ….lol He will be a back up or if he does start they will pull him mid season. Makeing excuses about he had no one to throw the ball to is rediculous. you are then saying that the coaching staff put garbage on the field to catch balls that is stupid.

“seven years in S.F”, Lets see…Braylon did not pan out and Josh Morgan, and Ted Ginn were all hurt and Kyle Williams & Delanie Walker was not 100%. Is that good enough for you? Meanwhile Eli Manning has all 3 of his starting WR’s when it counted the most. Are we just going to forget that tidbit and put all the blame on the QB? You don’t know or understand “JACK” about football. Listen do us all a favor and be a Cowboy fan…cuz you would fit perfect.

  66. By Rex on Jan 26, 2012 | Reply

Alex had a decent and mistake free year. He played almost perfect and this is what he gave us. I watched the offense look too inept too many times this year to have full confidence in him. There were a lot more 3 and outs towards the end of the season as they put more on Alex’s plate. I would like to see if Harbaugh can turn him around with a full off season to work with but I think the Niners need to look at a QB in the draft, possibly Kellen Moore. Their first priority should be a shut down corner. The secondary, while creating a lot of turnovers also gave up a ton of yards and big plays. If they have to rely on INTs next year again to kill drives, you can expect that best in league scoring against to go way up

  67. By NINERSS ALL DAYYY on Jan 26, 2012 | Reply

Seven years… Give alex some credit he did what the staff wanted him to do and he did gain confidence by the end of the year and against New Orleans he looked very good….His best receiver all year was a friggen tight end who didnt know the playbook until the playoffs started lol….teams were putting their best defender on davis…what the hell does that tell you about our receiving core….get alex some targets and lets see how much more he can improve with a full off season with harbaugh!!!

sorry, but i have to agree with the haters. for one, alex did not carry this team, the D did. i’ll give him credit for vast improvement, but its the inconsistency that kills us. He played lights out at the end of the NO game, but played awful for most of the NYG game. We need a QB that can make throws to open recievers on the run, not throw at the ground 5 yards in front of them. Keep Alex as a backup, he’s seasoned and could definately help a young QB (CK, Tolzien or a new one) develop. having said that, AMAZING year, and thank you to Harbaugh and the rest of the coaching staff and ALL the players for giving us a reason to cheer again! who’s got it better than us? NOBODY!!

Wow Saints game really they played man coverage against vernon and he burned ( that would be vernon who burned them ) all alex did was throw to a wide open guy ….I mean really that is your stand that he threw to a wide open guy so he is now an established QB in the NFL. Guys he cant even read that a blitz is coming on 3rd down when there are 9 guys in the box ….then doesnt even know to get rid of the ball before he gets smacked. HE has had 7 years …7 years people …find me a job where i dont have to perform for 7 years and get 80 million dollars …then have people outside of my job say …..hey give him more money and time to figure out the job ….oh wait what he can go and find another job ….no way sign him up again did you see how he made that last cup of coffee …we want him back …..yeah the last 900 pots of coffee were real bad …..but i want to see if the next one is…. pay up bosses this guy just might be able to be a barista in another 3-5 years. no worries we will still pay 10 dollars a cup weather it is good coffe or bad ….because we are not the ones paying his huge salary and footing the bill to get more and better equipment so see if it will help him make really good coffee even though he has no idea what he is doing after 7 years.

whether we sign alex or not, we cannot fault him for helping the team to the record we did this year. Also it is a shame that under the right coaching, alex really could have been better (too many years wasted under all those coaches, systems, etc). Anyways, anyone who was at game saw that our wideouts were totally not a threat also they do not know how to help their quarterback like rice, taylor, and or course clark.

Like they know more than our coach and GM. Seriously? You fools are dillusional! If it was not for a few unlucky events in the NFC Championship game we in the SB. Examples: Twice Secondary collided when we would have had interceptions, A ball “barely” skims the leg of Kyle Williams, a non call on a fumble by Bradshaw, many of our WR’s not healthy . If non of those events happen, we WIN. Sometimes football is about luck and as much as I hate that we lost and it hurts, I dont blame anyone. A true 49 fan is proud of ALL our players and the hard work they did & we excited about getting everyone back healthy and stronger than ever. 7 years, Jeromy and Tarcules are not true fans but ignorant, miserable people that need to be fans of the Cowboys, Jets or Raiders. These ALEX SMITH doubters obviously know nothing about football and the history of football. They just know an established name and think…oh we need that guy. But they don’t have the foresight to see the superstar before they are a superstar. Any idiot can say Brees, Rogers and Brady are good. Which ones can see who will be good unless an “expert” on NFL network tells them. Tercules, 7 years and Jeromy are jokes! Here are some facts for you diots.
Steve Young was 33 when he finally won a Superbowl. 8 year before he had a winning 16 game season in the NFL. Only one playoff winning TD drive.
Drew Brees was 30 when he finally won a Superbowl and the only team who wanted him in 2006 after 5 years in the NFL was the Saints. The Chargers gave up on him!!!!!
Peyton Manning took his 6th season to even win a playoff game and 9th season to even win a Superbowl. Only 1 playoff TD drive in ALL his years to date!
Payton was 30 when he finally won a Superbowl. He choked in the playoffs before that and was 0-3 his first 3 years in the playoffs! He is 9-10 overall. Alex already has a better win % than him with his first playoff game with finally a great coach.
Alex is only 28, finally has a great coach who understands developing QB’s who have talent. He knows what he has! What you Alex haters really think Harbaugh would waste his time developing Alex and somehow you know better than him.
Oh and BTW: Alex had 2 TD’s and zero interceptions in the NFC Championship game. Brady has 0 TD’s and 2 interceptions in the AFC Championship game and he is in the SB. You really want to keep blaming Alex who looked tremendous running down the sideline for a score against the Saints (really think slow Peyton would have been able to pull that off?) and his last TD drive to win it? That is NOT a true 49er fan, whether you have been following since 1950, 1960, or whatever. You gave up on Alex many years ago and made it known loud and clear so now instead of wanting to see him do well and help us FAITHFUL win, you woul drather see him fail to say “I told you so!”. It’s all about your petty ego’s AND I think Tarcules is homophobic with all his queens, pom-poms and what not. Geeez dude what does any of that have to do with the facts…did you mommy not hug you enough. Get a book and start learning football and checking your ego. WE LOVE OUR 49ers and support them all. Seems like both sides on the Alex issue like to use insults. When Debartolo first took over the Niners, we had the horrible Joe Thomas years, trading for a washed up OJ, no GM who knew the game, and a lifeless coach. Bring in Bill Walsh 79? 80? and you could see the difference immediately. 2-14 to 6-10 to 13-3 and a SB. York senior was the problem, now Jed knows what needs to be done. Nobody makes it to the NFL without boatloads of skills, you need to utilize those skills. Except for third downs, Niners offense was strong, Alex stood toe to toe with Brees and beat him in the last seconds. A Willis tackle would have saved even that need. Not the first time he has done that in his career: closing with a rally. Let’s keep the insults out of this, comments should be directed at actual facts.

Arrogant fools like you think that you are the football guru’s. You and Me both do not know what is going to happened. I do know it will be an improvement. Your insults do not mean anything to me. Now do your cheer lets hear it: Give me an A, Give me a L,…..come on you know how! If you do it I will be converted to a Alex fan!

It’s amazing how many perfect people are in the world. They have never made a mistake nor do they allow anyone to make a mistake. Yeh KW made a mistake if he learns by it then it should be excused. AS has to improve but he had an outstanding year considering no preseason. So all you perfect people should sit back and watch and if things don’t change then you can yell and scream how f…… up they are.

Oh, I would also like to say that I have been a Niner fan for about 55 years. So all you newbees are welcome to your thoughts, but remember they are only your thoughts and not everyones.

Tarcules..you don’t even make any sense. If you say you trust the coach then shut up about Alex if the coach belives in him and if you really think signing Peyton Manning is an improvement then you just going by name and not on reality for now and the future. He is fragile & immobile & lucky to ever play again, let alone be the same again. He has a fused neck! Do you know what a West Coast offense truly is the mobility one must possess? He was never mobile even in his best years. He would never survive! It must be hard being you so I will cut you some slack. WOW..you better go catch your special bus to make it to school on time ; )

Peyton Manning will make a great qb coach

  111. By Samfedy on Feb 1, 2012 | Reply

Stick to the script,Sign Alex for another year and we will see how far he can take us.Im impressed with Alex this season,i was an alex hater too,but i have seen a lot of improvements this year.He has earned my respect. He is not the best qb,he is great managing games and no one will respect Alex unless he wins a superbowl. If your not satisfied with a team that was 6-10 then the next season 13-3 and going to the nfc championship game, well your just a greedy bastard, and you must get frustrated in life alot.

we need desean jackson,he is the missing piece to the 49ers puzzle

  113. By rjdniner on Feb 1, 2012 | Reply

That would be the catch of the off season , The EAGLES will not let him go
We would probably have to give them our 1st round pick to get him . .

I knew all along that alex , who? would choke bigtime! 49ers got a great defense. the offence needs work. need a big time receiver to sure up the recieving unit. plenty of bigtime receivers out there this year that are free agents. Just open up your wallet 49ers owner. Remember the glory days. The coach gave alex one last shot. He had a good year, but take a good look at how many touchdows he threw. How many times they scored in the red zone.look what he did in the clutch down the strech in that giant game. in the biggest game of your life you throw for how many yards. Did he even break 100 yards. History always repeats itself. And for that bonehead kyle williams, in the day of instant replay, did you actually think that they would’nd review that play. What were you thinking?

lloyd blank,…BEWARE: YOU HAVE ENTERED THE ALEX SMITH Goldrush tryout cheering squad blog,……..you can not have an opposing opinion here. You must agree to LOVE and worship Alex, Kyle Williams and all the supporting fans or you will be labeled as having that dreaded disease: “Cranial Rectual Inversion”. p.s. I wonder how much LOVE Kyle will get if the NY Giants win the SUPERBOWL?

All people like Tarcules, 7 years and Jeromy do is force great players to want to leave. The constant amount of unappreciativeness because they are miserable with themselves & feel like losers in their own lives leaves them transferring all their frustrations on players imperfections. It’s constant with them and they will always find something or someone to blame all their unhappiness on. No one is saying Alex was the greatest QB this year but his improvement & the improvement of the team has given us hope. And are thankful for a season no one predicted and even though we fell short, we feel good about the future. People like you are the reason why the great Bill Walsh retired earlier than he should have or we would have won more. He was sooo exhausted and burned out becuase no matter how much he did whenever we did not win the Superbowl or even lost a game YOU questioned everything! People like you will never be happy because you don’t even like yourselves.

We are losers until we win the SUPERBOWL, that is a fact.

  119. By dave g. on Feb 5, 2012 | Reply

Tarcules nobody wins all the time. Thats life. We are doing pretty good with 5 SuperBowls-Still more than both the Patriots AND the Giants overall. You the biggest loser of them all because win or lose you will always be “YOU”

  120. By dave g. on Feb 5, 2012 | Reply

Tarcules, unfortunately for “YOU”, that status won’t change even when we do win another one. It must really $uck to be you.

  121. By Sean on Feb 5, 2012 | Reply

Tarcules…you so ignorant that you don’t even see how your “comeback” comment proved Dave G.’s point. I know I don’t feel like a loser. You do realize we still have more Lombardi Trophy’s than Giants and Patriots?

  122. By Sean on Feb 5, 2012 | Reply

Tarcules…”YOU” will always be a loser no matter how many more the 49ers win.

  123. By dave g. on Feb 6, 2012 | Reply

You actually proved my point Tarcules. The SF49ers have 5 SuperBowl wins with only one team in the NFL having more. They may have not won the SB this year BUT they are by no means losers! You Tarcules will ALWAYS be a loser no matter how many more WE win. You not part of that WE if you really see us as losers. NO TEAM wins every year BUT you will always be stuck with yourself. That is a fact LOSER.

Q: Why did everyone want Manning to come to the 49ers?
A: Because they are not REAL 49ER FANS. Manning was only going to be good for one snap.Another neck injury and he’s done for the year, if not career. The 49ers are stuck with an inexperienced Kaepernick and we might have a losing season.

After all the free agent signings and the players coming back, I believe we are only one offensive guard away from making the SUPERBOWL.
