NFC Championship Tickets on Sale Jan. 18

Posted by Taylor Price on January 16, 2012 – 12:29 AM

The San Francisco 49ers will host the 2012 NFC Championship game at Candlestick Park on Sunday. A pre-sale for season ticket holders and the general public on-sale will both be held on Wednesday.

Pre-sales for season ticket holders begins Wednesday, January 18, at 10 a.m. PST.

Three hours later, at 1 p.m. PST, sales will open up to the general public. There will be a limit of four (4) tickets per order and seats will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. As with the NFC Divisional game, tickets will sell out quickly and there is no guarantee of an opportunity to purchase.

All playoff tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster:  online at www.ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 1-800-745-3000.  Tickets will NOT be sold directly through the 49ers or at Candlestick Park.

Fans are reminded to beware of counterfeit tickets this week. The only way to guarantee authenticity of tickets is to buy through reputable vendors such as the NFL Ticket Exchange powered by Ticketmaster. Fans are urged to review the tickets or know the source before purchasing from second-hand or non-official sources.

That hit in 1st quarter by donte Whitner was something else! Knocked dude out before the guy hit the ground! MAN he was laying some wood! In the words of 42 that was a WOO HIT! Vernon Davis and A Smith deserve the praise! Vernon for his unselfish play and Alex for all the crap he put up with for the last 7 years! Way to go NINERS! 2 more wins left! WHO’s GOT IT BETTER THEN US?

One of the best niners games I’ve ever seen! Most of the sportscasters underestimated the niners. And look who is going to the championship game!

Thomas should not have said that they were going to come in and hit us in the mouth, that was enough motivation for whitner to put a little extra on that hit.

Just to let you guys in Calif know, we 49ers fans here in the UK are rootin` just as hard for the red & gold as you are. It means a very late night and tired all day at work, but I hope it`s gonna be worth it.
I`ve been a loyal fan for 26 years and have even travelled to Dallas to see SF beat Dallas in the infamous Terrell Ownes Texas star game, an experience I`ll never forget. We`re with you guys. Lets go San Francisco !!!!

I left my heart in San Francisco; specifically at Candlestick. My dad took our family to games when we were kids living in Richmond. Now at 63 in New Mexico, I watch the games yelling my head off. When it was obvious that our 49ers were gonna win, my sister, who lives next door, and I were outside letting our neighborhood know who the best football team is – that’s the 49ers, of course!!
