How to Get 49ers Playoff Tickets

Posted by Taylor Price on December 8, 2011 – 11:35 AM

As the 2011 NFC West Champs, the San Francisco 49ers will host a home playoff game at Candlestick Park on either the weekend of January 7-8 or 14-15. It all depends on the final records of the other NFC playoff teams.

Season ticket holders and 2012 season ticket deposit holders will have exclusive rights to purchase 49ers playoff tickets through the end of December.

At the beginning of January, following season ticket and deposit holders, the general public will have access to purchase the tickets that remain. Purchase limits will apply to the remaining tickets and availability will be limited.

As CEO Jed York announced on his Twitter account last week, the 49ers have frozen all season ticket prices for 2012. Click here for playoff pricing map and here for 2012 seat pricing. Season ticket deposits can also be placed by clicking this link.

Lastly, single game tickets for the 49ers final regular season home game versus the Pittsburgh Steelers on 12/19 are sold out.  To buy regular season single game tickets, please visit the NFL Ticket Exchange.

For all other ticket or suite matters, please contact Jared Kozinn, 49ers Manager of Ticket Sales and Service.

I received an email from the 49er ticket office saying that I would have a chance to buy playoff tickets before the general public because I placed a deposit on season tickets at the new Santa Clara stadium. I don’t see anything about that in the webposting above. Is there anything information on my chance to purchase these playoff tickets?

    Hi,

I have a question regarding season tickets. Is it the price of the seat x the number of home games next year or how does the pricing work?

    Thanks,
    Trevor

if you put a deposit on season tickets you should recieve an email letting you know when you can purchase playoff tickets after the reg season ticket holders claimed theirs first. should be in early jan.

season tickets are the price of the seat x ten home games during the reg season, post season is extra and the price for playoff tickets depends on your seat selection and you have to buy a two game package that start at $59 for devisional and $109 for championship game must but both for that price

If you make a deposit to be a season ticket holder for the 2012 season, will you be able to purchase tickets before the general public? If so when?

Also, is the amount of tickets that could be purchased by regular season ticket holders limited?
