Is there any truth to the story about the Niners and an interest in Shaun Merriman of the Chargers?

Do you think it’s a possibility of seeing a Gore – Westbrook/Dixon tandem on running plays more often? I see a potential of more trick plays resulting in positive progress with 2 of each of these players in the backfield.

what do you think of the performance of taylor mays so far, now that he has the starting job?

The Niners better be carefull of Carolina, they desperately need a win.

Hey Teddy- Do you think Matt Moore and the Carolina offense will try and use some trick plays and even throw the ball more, since they are known as a good running team?

Teddy, What is the main reason for the niners 1-5 start? And does Mike Singletary deserve to HC this team? From listening to interviews he seems lacking in football knowledge, rude and unable to control his behaivor.

    Hey Ted!!
The 49ers need some team unity. They gave an example at the beginning of the season at Seattle walking in arm and arm. Where is the team spirit now? Vernon is motivating Alex Smith keeping him pumped! We need this attitude for the whole team. By the way I see no mohawk on Alex yet? Where all black shoes, or come up with a chant “who dat rat?” “who dat rat?” “we gonna git dat little rat”! Or have one of those rats from the nutcracker play run onto the field at the beginning of the game and have Patrick Willis tackle him! Sounds crazy but its not. Everybody is too worried about there jobs. Playing relaxed and focused not worrying about making mistakes, instead determined to make plays! Make a compilation of the teams favorite motivating songs and put it on a cd, share it with fans or sell and donate proceeds to charity or to help fund stadium???

    “Ted whats realy going on”?

    Ted,
Isaac Sopoaga is helping us at fullback and I have read articles calling this “THE FRIDGE TWO”. Dont you think a better name for him would be “THE BIG KAHUNA”!!!???

Go niners, I don’t need to ask any questions. I think that the 9ers are fine. They need to put the past behind them & go fourt, they are a great team and will win every game that comes their way. Go 49ers all the way to the Superbowl!

    Ted,
Do you think Nate Clements being out this game will help or hurt the 49ers secondary?

  12. By Marc on Oct 23, 2010 | Reply

Ted doesn’t need to answer that question because I can answer it for you. Our secondary will be worse without Clements because Clements is an amazing cornerback, he is tall and physical and reflects the san francisco formula.

Sure looks like the 49ers are doing everything they can to make the move to San Josa as uncontraversial as they can by losing over and over again, keeping alex smith in the game and not firing singletary.
I expect big changes when the team finally moves out of SF

DO YOU THINK JED YORK HAS ANY IDEA HOW TO RUN AN NFL ORGANIZATION? THE YORKS HAVE DECEIVED THE FAITHFUL FOR 15 YEARS AND NOW THEY AREN’T EVEN GOING TO BUILD A STADIUM. PLEASE BRING BACK EDDIE!

  18. By Ernie on Oct 25, 2010 | Reply

Does Coach Singletary not think that maybe he could be the problem with the team, he said at one point if he failed he would fire himself I thinks its time.

Jedd York come on- Win the division huh?? What are you smoking?

I am long time49ers.You can argue, that are only couple 49ers this days.It is not true! Just walk in financial district.I never hear so many conversation about 49ers.
Seam to me, how this days 49ers go,more people come to there rescue. On critical note, this worpress page diapered from 49ers web.It look like,49ers front office can not take any criticism or public comets.Opposite is have to happened.49ers have to open them self to public comments,if they like stay likable! It is not about performance only, it is also community, with 49ers needed now!

When will the 49ers realize that neither Smith nor Carr are going to take this team forward? Jeff Garcia is still out there playing, go out and ask him for forgiveness (should have never let him go) and bring him back in to at least salvage this season and have some opportunity to maybe get to .500. Otherwise, trade both Smith and Carr for …well, just about any other teams backup would likely be a better selection.

do not know who to address this to but I have been a avid supporter of my forty niners team but enough is enough i finally agree with many people its not alex smith fault but he is not the answer either. We need changes from the coach to gm. I like Singeltary great motivator, not a x and o’s guy. jeff garcia is really eager to get back to the nfl why not go back to a proven winner in the short term and draft a qb. it seems simple to me but i guess im just a observer
