What are you most excited about this football season? Do you feel Alex can lead us to a RING?

    Hi Ted.

The secondary may be a question mark this year. Is Lewis or Smith the better choice at safety in your opinion? Do you see the elimination of the seven step drop as it relates to Alex Smith this season?

    Ted:

Do you think this will be Alex Smith’s last chance..I mean how long do niner fans need to wait..Yes I know he has had a different Offensive Coord almost every year, but this year he has the weapons. Last year he looked more comfortable but ..

i think if alex smith doesnt perform like he should with all the weapons he has on offense , we should get a new quarterback, cuz that all thats holding the niners back they denfence and offensive weopons

    Hi Ted,
Just a quick question, in hindsight, or in near sitedness do you think that possibly we overlooked a couple of QB’S like Cassel, who found that with a line in front of you there really is no stopping him, now that we HAVE that now do you think that we may further out quest for the missing link in Smith. Not saying that he doesn’t have the makings but how long do we say “Well maybe next year!” Honestly it seems that noonewants to give up on this guy, but when is enough, going to be enough. Go Niners!
    ThankYou, Paul S. from Iowa

After watching the game on yesterday my comment is simply. If the 49ers and Mike Singletary want to be successful the remainder of this campaign they will have to move away from a football team that is physical and can run the football. They will have to become a football team that will take advantage of what the defense is giving them. Make a statement in that fashion not in a fashion that will cause you to lose the game becasue of what you think your team should be able to do. The Hawks took away the running game.

    Hi Ted,

What do you think about this? To me Nate Davis is a better QB than Alex Smith. I Don’t know why Mike keeps him around. At least make him secondary.

Reading the past comments, it appears that we have all come to the same conclussion… Alex Smith is a really nice kid, with a great arm… but he lacks the leadership that is required to make a great NFL quarterback.

    Hi Ted,
I went to the game up here in Seattle and the niners had the game from the start if they didn’t have Alex Smith to mess up the game as he usually does hes not a good QB why do we keep him around if he cant win games i think us ni9ners fan are getting tired of paying the prices and not seeing no action what happened to the champion ship team we once had we are there we are just missing that one link which is the QB put in Davis number 7 he can do the job the the coach to do something with this team and not have smith as the guy that will lead us to victory cause it has not happened in sometime now and its getting just old well hope the other niners fans agree with me.

The 49ers offense are the weaken team in the NFL….cause they have a terrible quaterback that he can’t lead his team like other team….Defense pretty good but not the offense….2010 season go down hill 4-12 and fail against….they not gonna make it to the playoff unless they changing the quaterback and find a qualities quaterback next season….alex smith can’t lead this team to the playoff that i seem it…let draft kellen moore out of Boise States next season…he small, but he smart and know how to win the game and lead a team like 49ers to playoff…
